Beti, a woman in her late forties, is expelled from her home in Kosovo’s capital together with her family by Serbian security forces and sent to the border village of Blace. Her story of survival after the outbreak of war in 1999 unfolds as the world she had known begins to fall apart around her. The seemingly endless brutality Beti endures before eventually reaching safety becomes part of a collective story of survival.
