Dea first came to the museum during a school visit. Moved by the experience, she decided to become part of the museum at the age of 15, and is one of our most dedicated volunteers. She found her greatest inspiration in the Resistance corner, especially in the “Bread for Drenica” protest, which she had never heard of before her visit.
Dea represents a younger generation that did not experience the war, but feels a responsibility to understand and preserve its memory. She wants to contribute to preserving the history that is missing from school books, but is kept alive in this space of truth and resistance.
